These projects use a stitch known as the dandelion stitch, flower stitch, floret stitch, or sometimes the daisy stitch that creates a flower shape by pulling the loop of the yarn 2 or more times through a stitch 2-3 rows below the working row. A variation of this stitch is known as the Broderie Anglaise. Updated 6/1/24
