Free knitting patterns for izzy dolls, pocket buddies, and other small toys for charity knitting or gifts. Izzy dolls are named after Canadian Master Corporal Mark Isfeld who while serving in Croatia found a small doll and thought of the comfort that toys can bring. His mother Carol Isfield created crochet dolls modeled after that doll for Mark to distribute to children. Soon others started knitting and crocheting izzy dolls. After Carol passed away, Shirley O'Connell coordinated the sharing of the patterns and distribution. Unfortunately, it appears that the original group may no longer be active since I can't find current information on it. However they are still great dolls to knit and give. Updated 6/24/24.

This is my personal knitting blog. I post links to patterns I like by other designers on other websites. I don't own the patterns or distribute them. I'm a late-blooming knitter who learned to knit as an adult. I believe in knitting everywhere - even on the Iron Throne!
