The official Izzy Doll site with information on donating, official patterns, and more can be found at this link https://izzydoll.org/en/ Izzy dolls are named after Canadian Master Corporal Mark Isfeld who while serving in Croatia found a small doll and thought of the comfort that toys can bring. His mother Carol Isfield created crochet dolls modeled after that doll for Mark to distribute to children. Soon others started knitting and crocheting izzy dolls. More than 2 million Izzy Dolls have brought comfort to children in 130 countries.
