Hat, Scarf, and Mittens Set Knitting Patterns

Mistake Rib Stitch Knitting patterns. Mistake stitch is a one row or two row repeat that creates texture like raised rib. Its name is inspired by the fact that its pattern is knit like regular ribbing with a mistake - the second row is off by one stitch - or other odd number - that creates the texture. Most patterns are free.

This is my personal knitting blog. I post links to patterns I like by other designers on other websites. I don't own the patterns or distribute them. I'm a late-blooming knitter who learned to knit as an adult. I believe in knitting everywhere - even on the Iron Throne!
