Easy but elegant blanket with slipped stitches on a garter stitch background that mimic the look of cables, but much easier. Simple 4 row repeat. Size 106 cm 41¾” x 135 cm 53¼” but easily customizable. Designed by Sirdar. Super Chunky weight yarn. A kit is also available.
Wintery Waffle Stitch Blanket

The Parker Throw
Easy waffle texture in a 4 row repeat makes this an easy beginner or TV knitting pattern. Size approx. 68” X 73” but seems easy to customize. Rated very easy by Ravelrers. Worsted weight yarn. Designed by Meghan Ballmer of Meghan Makes Do. Web version is free.
Double the Stripe Blanket
Knit with mosaic stripes easy 4-row repeat slip stitch in two stripe repeats with two contrasting cake yarns, although you could easily substitute stash yarn. Size Approx 50" x 60" [127 x 152.5 cm]. Designed by Caron. Super Bulky weight yarn.
Wild Berries Blanket
Color blocked blanket in a 4 row repeat version of the berry stitch which adds a bobble texture. Web version is baby blanket size I think but pdf has 16 sizes from lovey to lapghan to king sized throw. Super Bulky weight yarn. Designed by Marialena Karofili of Malloo Knits. Web version is free.
Lace Blanket
This blanket is a great first-time lace pattern with an easy-to-memorize, 4-row repeat that creates a naturally wavy edge. Size Approx 44½” wide x 55” long [113 x 139.5 cm] though easy to customize. Quick knit in Super Bulky weight yarn. I think the recommended yarn gives it an interesting soft felted texture. Designed by Bernat.
