Free Patterns
Celtic Cabled Vest
Knit flat in two rectangles with gorgeous Celtic cables and then seamed up the back to create up the vest. No picking up stitches. Sizes Women S/M (M/L). Super Bulky weight yarn. Bulky Cabled Vest designed by Shannon Dunbabin.
Cable Panel Vest
It's unusual to find cable patterns that work as well with gradient self-striping yarn as this pullover v-neck does. Two other pluses to this pattern: the cable is a 6 row repeat and the neckline is knit with the body and not picked up. Sizes Finished Bust 35 (42, 50) in. (89 (106.5, 127 cm). Aran weight yarn. Designed by Lion Brand Yarn. Although the original yarn is unavailable, if you click substitute Lion Brand will show you options for replacement yarn.

I really love the variety of cables on this pullover vest and I like the fact that you could wear it alone under a jacket as a short-sleeved pullover. Sizes Finished Bust XS/S 28-34" [71-86.5 cm] to 4/5XL 56-62"" [142-157.5 cm]. Worsted weight yarn. Designed by Yarnspirations Design Studio. A kit is also available. Note that I changed the image to the Ocean color of Simply Soft because I didn't care for the green.
