Jerry the Berry Bee
Toy bee stuffie knit flat. The pattern seems easy to me with detailed instructions and photos. The only slightly fiddly bit is knitting the eyes but the instructions are clear. Knitting skills used: Knit, Purl, Kfb, K2tog, Ssk. Size: 30 cm / 12 inches (length). DK weight yarn. Designed by Nicola Riley. May only be free for a limited time.
Puffer Fish
Fish stuffie toy knit flat in mostly stockinette using some intarsia for the color. The eyes and spots are crocheted but the designer suggest using felt shapes instead if you don't want to crochet. I think you could also make with looped i-cord. Size: 14cm / 6 inches (length). Sport weight yarn. Designed by Annie Ahn. May only be free for a limited time.
