Victorian Pence Jug
Pence jugs were sort of a Victorian change purse: small bags meant to hold coins, though it’s unknown if it was a decorative object or a working purse. This is an 1884 version from The Young Ladies Journal: The Complete Guide to the Work Table. Size 3.25” tall though can be knit larger. Thread weight yarn. Designed by Vicki Monthei.
