Small chicken designed initially as a pet toy, but I think also makes a pretty decoration. Knit in a circle, folded around a cork, and then trimmed to look a pullet hen. Worsted weight yarn. Designed by Diane Trap.

This tiny chick toy comes with her own Easter egg shell with picot edges. The chick is 7.5cm/3in tall, and the egg is 12.5cm/5in tall, 7.5cm/3in wide. Designed by Alan Dart.

Which Came First?
You don’t have to choose with Frankie Brown’s humorous transforming toy. The egg fits inside the chicken, turn it inside out and the chicken’s in the egg. The chicken is about 11 cm tall and it can hold a real egg or a treat egg.

Adorable baby chick knit in the round with i-cord legs. Using fingering yarn, chick is 8cm/3in tall but using thicker yarns and bigger needles will make a larger toys. Designed by Caryl Mayes.
