Zing-Zing Scarf
Scarf knit in stacked garter stitch triangles shaped with short rows. Knit by holding two strands of fingering weight yarn together, each section creates a different color combination with a marling color effect. Designed by Sarah E. Chapman for Fairmount Fibers.
Marly Slippers
Cozy slippers knit garter stitch with 2 strands of yarn held together achieve the marled tweedy texture. Designed by Kaity Fraker. May only be free a limited time.
Shiran Cowl
Cowl can be knit either in the round with 1 round repeat or flat with a 2 row repeat. Designer says it can be knit in an evening. To achieve the marled tweedy texture, the cowl is worked with two yarns held together. You can also use a single strand of a chunky or a super chunky weight yarn for this cowl. Snazzy Crutch Covers
Boost the mood of someone who is using crutches with this quick project that's perfect for scrap yarn. Marled brioche rib stitch creates great color and texture, with enough stretch to fit over the crutches. The garter stitch at the top of the covers provides a nice bit of cushion for the underarms.
